...its kind of complicated but ill try to explain it...
3inch by 6inch paper...fold it in half so it becomes a square...unfold...then get one corner and fold it to the crease...unfold...then do the same to the other corner...unfold...and you should have an X on one side...bend the two sides so they are touching...you should have a trianlge on one side and a square on the other...now do the same to the other side...you should have a diamond shape...bend it so you make one triangle...and then fold the wings so they are touching...if you make more than one you can start connecting the wings togethor and make a row or strand...after that you can stack them on top of each other...(by stacking them they become very unstable i suggest you use glue or pins if you can)
the dimensions i gave you are a little bit bigger than what i used since you only have a day...dont know if this will help...but please give me credit if you ever use it...^___^ and goodluck!!
Hey...Thanks a ton.....i have another 12 hrs before submission...so i guess i might be able to do one small piece....rt now i have to submit 20 mockups....final model is due next week....when i came through your model on deviant....i found it real interesting....and have been trying to fold paper similarly since last few days. couldnt manage!!! also in your explaination i found this part a bit confusing.. "bend the two sides so they are touching"....you mean i should bend the two sides to meet at the center or bend it in half so that it makes two sqares ???

"now do the same to the other side...you should have a diamond shape"...You mean getting X on the other side of paper and a diamond shape in the middle of the paper when unfolded...rt???

just remember that your doing alot of folding and unfolding...also once you reach the red line it means your doing the same thing on the other side...i hope you still have time to finish and goodluck...
